Casey and Meg Herring obediently followed God’s calling to spread the Gospel through quality education.
In August of 2013, GEM founded its first Gospel-Saturated school in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Manantial was widely accepted by the community and immediately successful.
In its fourth year, GEM expanded Manantial to include a middle and high school.
In August of 2018, GEM opened its second school in the small mountain town of Juquila, Mexico.
In March of 2019, GEM adopted the Bridgeway School in Paidha, Uganda.
In August of 2019, GEM opened its third school in Huatulco, Mexico called Cornerstone.
In July of 2020, GEM opened its headquarters in Wilmington, NC. This allows for us to better equip our schools while also finding new opportunities to make the gospel known around the world.
In the spring of 2022, our Mexico Field Office officially opens in Mexico and serves to support and equip our gospel-saturated schools.
In January of 2022, GEM opened its fifth school in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia.
